CLUB NIGHT 5th APRIL - TALES FROM NORTH OF THE BORDER and RHADS briefing
Accomplished xc pilot (in the top 3 of the SMPC league for the last 4 years) Tony Shepherd, freshly back from flying in New Zealand, is coming all the way from Scotland to talk to us about Scottish flying (and maybe NZ exploits too). Nicely timed for the Scottish season.
At 7.30pm there will also be a RHADS briefing from Pat Dower for those hoping to use th Upton and Worksop corridors. It is recommended that those who attended last time attend again (or provide Pat with their details) - please see this months Skywords or contact me for more details.
We meet at the Horse & Farrier in Otley (LS21 1BQ). There is a big (free) car park round the back. The presentation will start at 8pm in the upstairs function room. Most people turn up around 7.30pm for a beer and a chinwag. Pub food is available until 7.30pm or there is a fish & chip shop round the corner or a curry house just down the road.
