Club Night - Thu 2 Nov 23
Horse & Farrier (LS21 1BQ) 7.30pm for an 8pm start.
Tom Shuttleworth is speaking about the First 30 Hours. He's going to cover:
- What's important about the first 30 hours or so?
- Where to fly? (Why does everyone else know where to go? Why does it sometimes seem secretive?)
- Who to fly with? (Why is everyone else in a Whatsapp sub-group?)
- What's in your head?
- Practicalities for progression
Alongside the short talk, there will be plenty of opportunities for questions and discussion. Tom would say it's for:
a) beginners and inexperienced pilots at the start of their flying
b) intermediate pilots who can bring memories and lessons learned
c) experienced pilots who can bring hard-earned wisdom.
You’ll see what he's done there… We’d really encourage people who haven’t been before, especially those relatively new to the club and flying. But, it’s definitely not just for beginners - We'd also hugely welcome contributions from people of all levels of experience so that we can learn from each other.
