Joint CSC/DHPC coaching day - 31st Jan 2015
Once every couple of years the CSC and Dales Club have run a joint theory day specifically about cross country flying. The next one will be at the end of January. We won't be discussing record breaking distances in foreign lands, but modest to decent XC flights closer to home as well as techniques and putting theory into practice. Ed Cleasby and Dangerous Dave will be hosting the day, with the venue at the Hawkshead Brewery, Staveley north of Kendal. The discussion will be similar to previous years, trying not to deviate too much from XC flying. We are improving with time, and have accumulated lots of information that will be presented in a colourful and entertaining presentation.

We are currently at the planning stage and will provide fuller details nearer the date, however the following details are confirmed.
Date: 31st January 2015
Time: 9:30am - 4pm approx
Venue: The Beer Hall, Mill Yard, Staveley, near Kendal LA8 9LR
Numbers: limited 30* (*Please note that we are already filling fast - I have initially reserved 15 DHPC places, but this can be increased if you get in fast and we are able to).
Costs: Free to CSC and DHPC members, but £5/non members if spaces allows - priority to CSC/DHPC members until 22nd January.
Tea/coffee/biscuits for a small charge if you wish. Lunchtime meals available downstairs or cafe (Wilfs' cafe - attached or pub grub within 5 minutes walk).
