Following years of discussion the committee recently decided to make the forum members only.  We believe that the advantages outweigh the disadvantages.  As a first step Alex has 'locked down' the forum so that only registered users (when logged in) can read and contribute.  The next stage will be to vet the 360 registered users to establish which ones are actually members (about 160).  If anyone feels that they have been denied ligitimate access then, for the time being, please contact the website officer: Turn on JavaScript!
