Important information

During Aug 24 the site was subject to helicopter activity moving stone to repair a footpath.  The car park is still roped off and the ISO container is still in place, but the stone has all gone.  We assess that the operation has been completed with just the clear up to complete.

Probably OK to fly, and plenty of parking space along the site of the road.

Please ensure that all parking is at the south end of the ridge near the road (as shown on the map) - once the ropes have been removed.

Comments

The site is shared with the Cumbrian Soaring Club. The farmers have expressed concern at occasional crowding at this site.

There is a small NW face that has been flown occasionally.  Do not attempt to land near the car park in this wind direction as it is likely to be in rotor.
